Just two old souls trying to change the world with funny videos.

Andy Nordvall

earned his Bachelor degree at Wesleyan University, where he majored in the College of Letters, a program dedicated to reading and analyzing the Great Books of the Western Canon. In his senior year he was the lead singer for Nördvall. At a typical performance, car parts would be blown up and trashcans banged on while Andy sang songs like "Valkyrie Love Slave," “No Sleep ‘Till Reykjavik” and "Dead Viking Mama."

After college, Andy covered the lively music scene in Athens, Georgia, home of the B-52’s and REM.  Then moved to China to teach English at Sichuan University, and later ran a pre-school in Taiwan.

Upon returning to America, Andy enrolled in UCLA’s Professional Program in Screenwriting where he won the program’s screenwriting award for his script Scary Monsters.  Later that year, he was accepted in the MFA screenwriting program.

While earning his MFA, Andy also got married, had two kids, and basically settled into life as a native Los Angelino. Since graduating, he has worked as a production assistant or writers’ assistant on three pilots, MY NAME IS EARL, and THE GAME.  Recently, he and Devon co-wrote and directed their first short film, 24: THE INTERNS, which was the top rated film on FunnyorDie.com the week it debuted, and was Entertainment Weekly’s pick for funniest web short of the day.

Andy and Devon’s half-hour pilot, “Hard Sell,” is currently under option with a Peter Stark Program alumnus.

Devon M. Schwartz

attended Yale University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater Studies and Psychology and joined "The Duke's Men of Yale," an a capella singing/comedy troupe.  He was a tour manager, soloist and comedy sketch writer for the award-winning group, which performed around the country and internationally.

Both before and after his time at Yale, Devon enjoyed a fruitful acting career, appearing both on and off Broadway and working with such actors as Mandy Patinkin, Joan Cusack and Peter MacNicol, and such directors as Joseph Papp, Stuart Vaughan and David Hare.  Highlights include five shows for the New York Shakespeare Festival, the title role in "Johnny Pye & the Foolkiller" at the Lambs Theatre and an extended run of "The Little Rascals" at the Goodspeed Opera House. Devon began writing and editing documentaries with various production companies in New York, working for museums, corporations and public television.  In the late ‘90s, he joined The Tuesday Group, a reading forum for playwrights and screenwriters (including “Woodsman” scribe Steven Fechter) based in Theatre Row Theatre.  Both of Devon’s plays, "Honor Role" and "Enter Attendant, Disguised or What You Willy," have been fully produced.

Once in Los Angeles, Devon wrote and edited for NationalLampoon.com and Digital City, Inc. (AOL's online entertainment guide), then worked as a development assistant for Jonathan Prince.  He started writing sitcoms with writing partner Andy Nordvall in 2002.  Three of their scripts have won first place in the Carl Sautter Memorial Scriptwriting Competition for Film and Television.

Devon is also still a working actor (as Devon Michaels), most recently in the season finale of “Monk.”  He’s had numerous other TV appearances, guest-starring on “Without a Trace,” and recurring on the hit CW series “Gilmore Girls.”
